Tree spades

A wide range of tree spades is produced in our workshop. Those machines are an important tool for many tree growers, bush growers, landscapers, etc.

Our range of tree spades is starting with the small KLR-300, which is suitable for 20-40 cm root-balls. The biggest one is the KLR-2000 for 140-200 cm root-bals.
Beside of our range of tree spades we are also able to deliver tree transplanters; KLR-1500 (150 cm root-balls) till KLR-2500 (250 cm root-balls).

Our tree spades are available as (mini) digger/excavator, loader and tractor mounted equipment. We also have a number of self-propelled machines in our assortment.

The digger and loader mounted tree spades are available in a wide range. Starting with the KLR-300 (for root balls between 20 and 40 cm / 8 and 16 inches) up to the KLR-1400 tree spades (for root balls between 100 and 140 cm / 40 and 50 inches).

The spades of the tree spades in this range are exchangeable. So you are not restricted to just one root ball diameter per machine.

Working fields of the smaller tree spades in this range are mostly tree nurseries (for smaller plants). The bigger ones are suitable for transplanting jobs as well.

The loader mounted tree spades are available in 2 types; the KLR-1600 A (100-160 cm / 39.5-63 inch root-balls) and the KLR-2000 A (140-200 cm / 55-79 inch root-balls).

Working field of these tree spades are avenue tree nurseries. The machines are suitable for digging, transplanting and undercutting.

Our range of self-propelled tree spades is very wide, starting with the KLR-501 ZR (30 – 50 cm / 12 – 20 inch root-balls) up to the KLR-1200 ZR (80 – 125 cm / 31.5 – 49 inch root-balls).

This range of tree spades is mainly useful for narrow row cultures.
5 of the possible 7 machines are provided with Kubota engines, the other 2 machines are provided with Deutz engines.

Damcon tractor mounted tree spades are mainly developed for avenue tree nursery activities. 4 types of this kind of tree spades are available in our product line. The smallest tractor mounted machine is the KLR-500 for 30 – 50 cm / 12 – 20 inch root-balls, the biggest one is the KLR-900 (60 – 90 cm / 23.5 – 35.5 inch root-balls).

All these tree spades are provided with 4 spades, a undercutting blade is mounted to it as well. The undercutting blade is meant to cut the lower roots.

The digging capacity of these tree spades is variable between 40 – 80 per hour (KLR-500 & KLR-700) and 40 – 60 per hour (KLR-800 & KLR-900).
